Two years ago I was diagnosed with cancer (Carcinoid Syndrome) and completed a series of targeted radiation treatments. This particular cancer causes leaky heart valves and consequently I underwent open heart surgery to replace the two valves. The trauma of the radiation treatments and the heart surgery caused significant hair loss which was very traumatic for me. I was quite devastated and embarrassed to go out anywhere with my remaining hair looking so bad. Then one day a very kind lady recommended that I check out The Wig Gallery of Wethersfield on line so I did this and it looked a lot more interesting than any of the other websites I googled. Thinking I would try some wigs I called and made an appointment with Vincent Fabio the owner. Because I had enough hair on the top of my head he recommended that I use a hair topper that clips onto my own hair and falls down over it. It is made of 100% human hair and I was so excited to see that it looked like my own real hair. Vincent Fabio was very kind and professional and he explained clearly how to attach the hair piece. He then styled it to look exactly the way I wanted. I immediately felt a million times better and it gave me back my confidence. Thank you so much Vincent for being so helpful, professional and understanding. The one on one attention to the fitting and styling of the hair made all the difference. I have had so many wonderful compliments even from people who don't know it's not my real hair. Thank you also to your beautiful daughter who works with you.
