Mr Wells was informative, friendly and funny. Knew the product well and was a good salesperson. He taught us about windows how they differ and why his company was the best for what we wanted. He really wanted our business and he worked to get it.

We had 13 windows replaced. Universal Windows claim the windows are custom built just for our openings. As they were installing the windows I noticed that there was a 1/2 to 3/4 inch gap on the sides and at least an 1 inch gap at the top that they fill with foam. To cover the gaps they double tape a trim strip on the window frame. The installers left trash on the ground at every window, on the roof, an empty water bottle in my shrub, trampled some flowers in a flower bed and one of then emptied their dip spittoon in my front yard. The caulking had missing gaps that let water run in behind the siding. When we were talking to the salesman he indicated the windows came with half screens but there is a full screen option at no cost difference. After we signed the contract and gave him a post dated check he left. The next day we discussed we would rather have full screens and contacted the salesman and was told it would not be a problem because the windows have not been started yet. When the salesman called for permission to deposit the check we restated we wanted full screens, again no problem they haven't started building the windows. When the guy came to accurately measure the windows, again no problem all they have to do is make them. When the first window was being installed I noticed they had half screens. I told the installer and he said it wasn't a problem they just have to make them and install the screens. I called our salesman right then but he didn't get back with me until about 4.5 hours later. He said he would get with the sales manager and see what could be done. After a couple phone calls and a few texts I was told I got the best deal possible and full screens would be an additional charge of $400. I requested the sales manager to call me but he never did. I called Universal Windows and was transferred to the service dept and I explained the situation and was told I would have to pay for the screens. I asked to talk to the service manager. She told me the same thing but added I got what I contracted for, I got a quality product for my money and she was the top authority in that dept and I couldn't speak to a supervisor above her. I scheduled a service appointment to fix the caulking a little over 2 weeks out. We will see how the repairs go. So in short make sure what you want in in the contract, you will receive nothing more nothing less no matter what they say. Their custom built tolerances are at least 1 inch (ridiculous)You will have to double check there work and clean up after them. Not feeling well about the lifetime warranty after my dealings so far.

Never came after i took my day no pay at work..they rescheduled to another day. that i have to take off no pay...update window are trash they are weak windows bad quality. The locks flex when you pull on them not even hard.look like if someone brakes in the locks will brake easy..they guy did a bad job..he place all his tool on my clean white sheets..i realy cant belive he did that an they si called Profesional ..than he had to replace some broken wood he broke was trying to cover the broke wood with the metal sheet to cover it k told him he need to replace that he broke.told me he was going to the shop to get them never came bak..left the out side of the windows with nothing on no metal cover for the side or anythin....you can see threw an see the house structure..cant belive this company allow people like this to work for dem..HORORBLE...i do not recommend paid almost 6,000 for 4 windows that are weak an trash an the installer no quality at all..smh. over all this company is trash..please look some where else

For roughly a year we've been searching for a Window Company to install new windows in our home. We've seen the run around from so many different companies but the gentlemen we had from Universal Windows that came to talk to us was Great. We typically don't like having to sit through the same Spheal over & over but Devin made it pretty painless which was refreshing. He listened to our needs & didn't just push the product at us. In return we felt more comfortable listening to what he had to offer. Thanks for making this process one that we can stand behind & are looking forward too. 🙌
