I showed up 8am, they were open but you cant get in. They literally have security there and phone numbers posted on the door. They don’t answer the phones though. And no message machine or wait time, they just hang up on ya. So I tried applying online because i was told by a VA rep that I could because I moved more than 50 miles but their site wont let you and instead tells me to call WA state unemployment yet gives you all the wrong information of course. Anyway the guy from Washington state says do it here because i live here now and had to move here because of the whole active duty military spouse thing. I also figured they’d also be a little more willing to help a Veteran find a job at the same time but they cant seem to answer the phone so. It’s unfortunate but i was laid off at my old job in WA state because Covid slowed down work and my wife was transferring soon so it made the most sense to let me go early. Anyway, WA state unemployment told me to wait till i get to RI to file and RI wont even answer the phone to help so... yep. I really wouldn’t worry much except for the fact that i have a kid on the way so its essentially imperative that i worry. Anyway hopefully they find a way to correct the idiocracy they have going on down there. And hopefully I find a job on my own during this stupid covid thing. Perhaps go from a $30per hr job down to minimum wage as i have a baby coming because i cant get them to answer the phone at all. How do you not have an answering machine? Leave a phone number and call back IT’S 2020 FOR CHRIST SAKE!!! Ill buy one for ya if the state wont allocate the funds. They’re 7 dollars on eBay.

Paul Rosedale who is my training interviewer for the grant I have received for my education is so rude to me and always has a snarky comment about everything we email each other about. I have called in the past to talk to a manager to whom I forgot his name and I had asked if there’s anyone else that can be provided with the responsibility of being the person who deals with my grant instead of Paul and was denied. Not only that the manager I spoke with was even ruder than Paul. Now do to this global pandemic I have to email paul a lot and I’m sick of the way I get talked to but apparently there is nothing I can do about it. And not only is paul rude through our email conversations but I’ve also received plenty of attitude from him at our past appointments.
