Officer Curran responded incredibly fast to my request for assistance in helping a raccoon that was trapped in a dumpster. She was so friendly and helpful and I am so grateful that she was available to help me and the raccoon. Thank you again!!!

I arrived at this animal shelter just a few minutes before 5:30. Despite the hours posted on the door saying they closed at 9, the animal control officer told me he was about to close up. If the staff want to leave early, they need to change their posted hours. Because of this experience, I will not be adopting a pet from this shelter.

Thank you to Joe! I have a 100 pound, 13.5 year old Golden Retriever that needed to get to the vet and I was unable to get him into my car. Joe quickly responded and kindly helped me get Captain to the vet. Thank you!

Yes . All dogs should be leashed ... if two dogs meet and an altercation should ensue then the person who's dog is unleashed would be the liable party ... it's not only a legal issue but bad pet parenting .... no one knows what can set a dog off and so being leashed helps keeps an incident to none at all or at least minimum .
