The worst medical service I ever got. I gave 1 because I couldn't give 0. Dr. Sudha Thiruvengadam was not professional at all. I was in CT for 4 months. I visited this place as a new patient for my annual physical exam. This visit cost me $500 even I had a medical insurance which fully covered preventive services. I should also mention doctor Sudha also ignored my request to give me the codes to check the coverage with my insurance and wanted me to take the blood test ASAP. I had at least 25 calls during the 6 months after I got this bill. However, I was transferred and was ignored for at least 10 times, repeating my story until I connected to the office manager, who agreed to look into my case. I kept following up as I never paid over $50 for a routine physical exam. I am young and healthy. The manager wasn’t allowed to give discounts. Instead he suggested me to file an appeal with my insurance. The insurance later told me the doctor ordered some preventive services that were not listed under PPACA and thus were not covered by insurance. These services were not ordered by my doctors in Massachusetts. I guess these are not tests that are usually ordered during a routine physical exam. From the very beginning, my issue wasn’t going to be resolved through an appeal. This whole thing was a clinical concern. I wasted prob 50 hours on this and I was really disappointed. I felt sorry that I cannot keep going with this and thus I paid $500 for a lesson. I don’t want to continue spending my precious time to file a clinical concern. Instead I wanted to share my experience with the public which took me only 5 minutes. However, I spoke highly of Doctor Rachel Leonardi, who performed my routine OBGYN exam. She was nice and professional. She sticked to services that are critical to understand my health condition and are covered by insurance. For other suggested services that may not be covered by my insurance, she gave me the codes to check with my insurance before she performed them. Thus I would say the quality of the service has more to do with the doctor you assigned to. Please avoid Dr Sudha. If you have any questions or issues, don’t expect the administrators to be responsible and helpful.

The receptionist took all the nicness and understanding right out of me. I left a message on their after hours answering service 2 times for my doctor or the nurse and no call back. I finally called on open hours to see if they got it and the receptionist basically told me to go to the ER for mental issues. I have no words, just wow, never say that to anyone. I can't even call back right to try to talk to anyone else or bring myself to go even go back. Your receptionist are horrible and made me feel so degrading.
