Terrible store, employees have no customer service skills and are not friendly at all. They always look at you like they would really prefer being somewhere else, even walmart is much friendlier than this place. I am pretty sure whoever is rating this store 5 stars works there.

Pharmacy NEVER answers the phone. The pharmacist is less than friendly nor helpful. Waited for a month to get a prescription that with proper communication wouldn’t have taken nearly this long. This is why people don’t like using rite aid pharmacies anymore. Disappointed to see standards have fallen this much when there is such a high demand from this field.

Absolute hassle of a pharmacy to work with. Don't come here if you have any meds that are time-sensitive (e.g., Adderall) because it's unlikely you'll get them filled in time. My most recent frustration (of many) with this pharmacy is trying to pick up medication for my wife. I called to fill them on Tuesday, and their automated system said it'd be ready that evening. I went in that evening, and I was told that they were out of stock and I'd have to come back the next day. I come in Wednesday to pick up the meds, then get told my wife's insurance rejected the prescriptions. I ask for clarification because this hasn't happened before. The pharmacist comes to help me, leaves for a few minutes, and brings back an emergency supply saying that we can't fill the prescriptions until the 25th, which isn't correct. She said she gave me a five-day emergency supply (not enough to get to the 25th), but when I got home, it was just a random number of each. 6 of one and 10+ of the other. She walked away before I could ask any other questions. I'll have to come back within the week to get a proper refill. Still confused about the insurance situation, since that was never answered. Any time I come here, if there's at least one other customer at the pharmacy, that customer is also having a negative experience. At this point, we only come here for the convenience of distance, but I'm willing to drive farther if it means we can expect to receive prescriptions when we're told we will. It's a shame that the entire Rite Aid location gets a poor review because of the pharmacy. The rest of the store is fine, clean, employees are nice. If the store wants to improve their rating, they should seriously consider the state of their pharmacy and why their reviews have been so consistently negative.

Sad to report that this pharmacy has been running slow compared to how they used to. They were fine a couple years ago but slowly started having some issues. Recently the drive-thru has been closed, and any time scripts are sent there or a refill is requested they are not done on time or have to go back the next day or they're out of the med needed and have to order it.. A few times after a doc appt (when they send in a script) by the time i got there it used to be ready, but now usually have to wait a good few hours or until the next day.. which isn't exactly too helpful for someone who might need it or is in pain (which is the point of sending in the script in the first place).. Also, for quite some time now one cannot get a hold of them on the phone, no matter when/how many times they're called.. I do like Rite-Aid but at this point I might have to switch to Walgreens or Safeway across the street until they can resolve this. I also tried using the electronic option to refill a med and when I asked about it a day or so later, it still wasn't sent thru so had to wait another day. Quite confusing. Are they also having software glitches? I have also gone there at two different times when they were closed before their stated business hours, another employee stating that they closed early due to short staffing. These are experiences from the past year or so (have gone there for a few years) but even before it got to this point the timing and availability was starting to decline. I perhaps think if they got on top of the customer/patient service and get a couple reliable staff members and manged to get people their prescriptions on time aaand reopened the drive-thru then they would see a positive return of their customers. Most problems have resolutions and my review is intended to help in the sense that making necessary good changes will positively affect customer retention... this gaining them what they want ($) but also what the people want and deserve (fair service). Then it would be a win/win. And I'm almost betting that this review will result in them or someone/thing representing them leaving a comment in response saying to call 1-800-lalala.. lol. We need the actual managers or district leaders and such to implement these changes for the better then everyone is happy again. Gotta give decent service in order to receive business.. unless they really don't care. Lol.
