They never helped me or did anything the first time. The second time they were just as bad. I think the Mayor and this advocate is a waste of tax payers money.

Questions & Answers

Does this office help individuals need help with a city agency and what are the procedures?

Yes, they assist with advocating for you. If you have an issue with an agency, the best they can do is call and speak on your behalf. The prosedure is simple, you can go in person to fill out an application and speak with an intake person. After that, you will be assigned an advocate to assist you with your issue. They're not very effective in my opinion, but you may have a different experience than I had. I hope all works out-- you can also call and make a complaint, but you'll eventually have to go in anyway. Either way, you'll be assisted.

Did anyone else hear our Public Advocate, Jumaane Williams say "Shout out to Black women", yay, on Black America? The brother is so humane we could all take page from his book.

EEOP Department of Labor, Albany State office maybe, the public advocate office is the second highest ranking to the city mayor as first, office duty is about city agencies businesses and individuals to check on and investigate complaints, however if a crime is involved that's the d.o.i job
