Great shul with both a venerable history and an active now. Definitely the friendliest shul I've been to in New York. They are welcoming of guests and seem to have a very wide range of services, lectures and events for families and young people. I remember it being very austere 40 years ago - now they've blended in a serious but very open and friendly atmosphere.

I only visit him to play volleyball at the gym that Big City Volleyball rents out. The elevator is very slow.
