Dad has been receiving wonderful care. This past weekend however, the RN who came through to help dad with meds seemed a bit agitated with him because he was slightly reluctant to take his meds due to difficulty swallowing.

It is a very clean environment staffed with incredible professional caring talent. Not only is the patient treated with care and respect so is the family. Please know that as is just about all facilities today sometimes they may be under staffed or just overwhelmed by others who may be in more need at the time. Don't be outraged, it happens ... just communicate with the staff and I am sure all will be fine .... Each and everyone of these people are special and extremely appreciated.

why would a person be in your facility

The facility is an excellent care facility for a person who needs assistance with living and taking care of themselves, particularly after medical treatment when they are well enough to leave but not well enough to be home. But you should call Atrium for information on your situation and concerns. They are very nice in addition to being expert professionals.
