Love this place. The space is warm and friendly. The in-house collection is fairly diverse but I would say their e-book collection through Hoopla and Libby has even more to offer. They have a quiet section great for studying with large tables that have outlets built into the space. Plenty of computers for web browsing and printing. I especially love that there are so many kid-friendly activities that are held at a variety of times during the day both in-person and virtually. This is my fave go-to spot with the kids. Something for everyone!

Many new books have a 2 week checkout limit. Older titles are available for 4 weeks. Stop by, we'd love to help you!
It's being done on a drop off basis by appointment at only 3 locations in Rockland. If you can call the library during business hours, we can give you the phone number to make an appointment.

Hi Catherine, Our next Empire Safety Council Defensive Driving classes are scheduled on the following days and times: June 4 & 5; Tuesday & Wednesday, 5:45 - 8:45 pm August 26 & 27; Monday & Tuesday; 5:45 - 8:45 pm If you are interested in attending, in-person registration is required along with a $25 payment, payable by check to Ian Prastien. Please note that both classes must be attended to receive credit.

Computer labs hours are similar to the library hours except it closes 15 minutes to library closing time. are as follows for the Main Library: Monday - Thursday 9 am - 8:45 pm Friday 9 am - 5:15 pm Saturday 10 am - 4:45 pm Sunday 1 pm - 4:45 pm* * Closed Sunday, June 23 - September 1, 2019 For the Village Branch, hours are as follows: Monday 12 pm - 7:45 pm Tuesday - Thursday 10 am - 5:45 pm Friday 10 am - 5::15 pm Saturday 10 am - 4:45 pm Sunday Closed Please be aware that sign-in for public computers stops 10 minutes before the end of the computer lab hours so we recommend you come in before then.
