Yes it is. Ticks are a risk almost everywhere these days, so we keep our dogs protected.
There are multiple loop trails that you can follow. The shortest, to the view tower, is less than half a mile. Not sure of the entire length of all the trails, but I'd guess maybe 3 miles round trip. We did it with kids, ages 4 and 6.
