When I lived in New York I was an active member at Flushing Quaker Meeting. Filled with lovely people. It's an historic building that shows Quaker simplicity and beauty. The gardens are also very beautiful.

Great little piece of history just a little stroll away from Flushing Main Street. This house was built in 1694 and still remains standing.

The New England Yearly Meeting established the New York Yearly Meeting in 1695 and the first New York Yearly Meeting was assembled at Flushing in 1696. At that time Friends’ meetings in Manhattan, Long Island and Westchester were part of Flushing Monthly Meeting. For more details, visit http://flushingfriends.org/.
