Pros: Great time camping. They are a family friendly campground with a lot to offer for kids. Playground, mini golf, horses, potentionally a pool though that wasn't open this time of year. Friendly, hard working people. Everyone was super friendly even though we had 2 fussy babies with us. Cons: The only real negative was we were situated on a cliff and I was afraid the 1 yr old would run off. So if you have a little runner keep in mind you may have to turn into a helicopter mom/dad for a few days. Also, it was very hard to find the owner to pay for the stay, but she was constantly working while we were there so there was good reason.

This was my first time at a campground in many years. It was a bit rundown but functional. It looks like most of the people actually live there. They can get your propane tank refilled and they sell firewood. There is a fire ring and picnic table at each site. It was pretty shady so probably good for summer. I was there in November and it was cold. The bath house had toilets and showers. There was even a small playground for kids. I only spent one night before visiting some of the local vineyards.

This is by the best campground I’ve ever been too! Definitely a get away. You can go kayaking, off roading, float the river, mini golf, basketball hoop, swim. They have a bath house and a club house. They provide internet. You can hook up an RV, or tent camp. The owners Debbie and Greg are the best and really make this feel like home. I’d highly recommend this campground to anyone anytime!

Family CG, great people. Swimming, Mini-Golf, Shuffle-board, Bikes, Fire Rings & Tables at each Site! LP as you pull in! Owner/Managers Greg & Debbie are the best! Home- Made Goodies in the Store! I forgot the Pool Table & Library next to the Laundry (but in the same building as the showers/rest rooms). This is the best Triad area CG that my wife and I have found. In the area: Vineyards & Wineries, Great Restaurants, convenient to the Blue Ridge Pkwy!

They do not have their own fishing pond/river. But there is a large river nearby. You may need a fishing license. I'm not sure. They do have a small, but pretty, creek on the property.
