Fantastic hike with great people! You should definitely do this one. Not super steep but lots of places to stop and take in the views. Wear hiking shoes / boots though. Trail can be kinda rocky in places. Nice picnic table at the top for lunch from your pack.

Great view from the top. Dog friendly. Good for bikes, hikes and running as it's not too steep. Substantial number of toilet paper piles in the woods around the parking area, it's great, thanks everyone for your contribution of white first floor flowers! Leave no trace.

Good hike! 5.5 miles round trip. It has a pretty great view of Mt. Shasta and Shasta Dam. The top doesn't have a lot of room to sit or be in general but there is a picnic table underneath a tree that sometimes provides shade. Overall pretty good!
