Would not recommend. Rooms smell like terrible strong air freshener when you walk in. None of the front windows on the rooms lock! We reported it and they said they would bring us a bar to put in the window, but they never did. It's not cheap enough for what you get... wouldn't stay here again.

BRIDES BEWARE. While the renovations to the motel have brought charm to the premises, the positive attributes stop there. I couldn't even tell you how many unanswered emails and phone calls I had over years of attempting to plan our wedding with Town & Country as the home base for our wedding guests. There were times when it was 11am on a weekday and a phone call would be met with endless rings. It was a nightmare trying to get answers to simple questions, and I was sometimes met with hostility by the owner (not the staff who were overall good/okay but likely way understaffed). Eventually, when the motel decided to start hosting their own weddings on the premises, our covid-postponed agreement (and years of communication) was essentially dissolved when the owner decided to only allow my fiance and I to reserve a small portion of the rooms available (not the entirety of the hotel, which was always the plan and mutually agreed upon). We changed course and booked elsewhere in the Stowe Village and it ended up being a blessing in disguise. STAY AWAY IF YOU ARE TRYING TO PLAN AN EVENT THAT REQUIRES ANY AMOUNT OF CONSISTENT CONTACT.

For the price of the very small room ($210 USD), I would have expected a properly locking door - fan in the bathroom - a sink that is possible to brush your teeth in (if you use a tiny sink - don’t put a shelf above it), and a place nearby for breakfast. Pizza place was cool, but it’s confusing why they don’t have breakfast service. I recognize this is a pricey area - just a few things to address to improve the overall experience. I would stay again if I saw improvements.
