We would without any doubt recommend a stay at Heart of the Village Inn. Great hosts, great place to stay and a great location. We had a great time there for 4 nights, and we hope to be back again someday. Don't forget to ask your hosts about where to go or what to see or do. You'll probably learn about some hidden gems like where to see a great sunset, where to eat, and where to have a nice hike, etc. P.S. You'll enjoy your breakfasts and you definitely won't go hungry.

We are 7 miles south of downtown Burlington, Vermont. It's an easy drive - Rte 7 (Shelburne Rd) will take you directly to the city center.
Yes, we do! We are quite possibly the only B&B/Inn in Shelburne area with air-conditioned rooms. As a historic home, we offer window units on a seasonal basis.
Our rooms offer radiant heat individually controlled via in-room thermostats. We are quite possibly the only B&B/Inn in Shelburne area with AC/heating. There are no fireplaces at our B&B.

Yes, several local restaurants and a lovely coffee shop are located within a short walking distance from Heart of the Village Inn. For starters, Barkeaters is just across the street. Cucina Antica is behind Barkeaters in a small shopping center. Heading up Falls Rd, you'll get to The Bearded Frog. Heading down Falls Rd, you'll get to Rustic Roots. Unfortunately, no, we are not. Pets, emotional support / companion / comfort animals of any kind are not allowed on the Inn's grounds and premises. ADA service dogs individually trained to do work or perform tasks for a guest directly related to a disability are permitted. A service dog handler is expected to control the service animal at all times and observe all handler responsibilities.
We are a Bed & Breakfast operated by the husband and wife team of owner-innkeepers. There is no front desk or staff here, we offer a true cozy home-style Bed & Breakfast experience.
