If I could, I would give them 0 stars. This medical office is unprofessional and unreliable. The staff is arrogant. The doctor gave my wife substandard care and relied on incomplete testing to base a significant decision. Go to a MD (Medical Doctor) for your care, not a DO (DR. of Osteopathic Medicine).

The staff at this office is inept, disorganized, and frustrating to deal with.

I have never been so disappointed in a medical facility in my life. I originally thought Dr. Malik would be beneficial to my treatment however he has the most unprofessional and unorganized staff I have ever seen for a medical facility. On more than one occasion I had appointments with appointment cards that were never scheduled on their books. Living in pain, working full-time and all the other stresses in life, this is a major inconvenience as they refuse to see you. They reschedule you. They forget to do important things like referrals that they have recommended...such as and MRI for the brain and c-spine along with a referral to neurosurgery. The treatment from the "physicians assistant" Lori was subpar. She has blown off any if not all of my concerns every time I have interacted with her and from the review I have read, I see this a common occurrence. She also pretty much refused to look at my past records with X-Rays and MRI's. Mind you, this facility has never requested one. I would not let this woman treat my dog! She is incompassionate and heartless and will totally blow you off. I guess she has taught the staff well. PRC please do not leave a reply asking me to call you. That will not happen, I can assure you. If you want to reach out to me, you should have my information.

Questions & Answers

How does a patient go about getting a refill as I have been out of my muscle relaxer for weeks

If you are an established patient and they are the one's who write your prescription you might be able to call the office and get a refill electronically sent to your pharmacy. If you aren't an established patient or they aren't the ones who write that prescription for you or it's a controlled substance or it's been awhile since they've seen you then they might require you make an appointment to come in and be seen first. Call the office and either listen to the prompts and choose the one that says refills or choose the front desk/receptionist prompt to speak with them.

This is Betty Provenzano a pt of Dr Malik. I have tried to get a prescription refill at least eight times. My pharmacy has faxed. I was able to get a few but I can’t walk now and I not being seen for over one wh. Publix Westport

Call the office and speak to someone directly about your refill. They are horrible with responding to their faxes unfortunately. If it's been awhile since you've been seen they might require you to come in first for an office visit before they will refill your prescription. You might also want to try your primary care doctor if the wait is too long with Dr. Malik's office and explain the situation and see if they can just write one refill until you can get into PRC to see Dr. Malik or one of the other associates.
