Excellent customer service! They went above and beyond— even re-delivering when my sister wasn’t home— with patience and kindness. And according to my sister, the bouquet was “beauuuutiful!”

Our family has been ordering bouquets of flowers since the closures for my mother-in-law since the closures. Each arrangement is a work of art and delivered in a timely manner. They have brought so much joy to my mother-in-law that we continue to order flowers periodically. My mother-in-law loves them so much that she takes a pictures and shared them to her social media page as soon as she is able to. Thank you to Beth and Sabellico’s for brightening her days during this challenging time of her life.

Beth from Sabellico's Florist shop is hands down the kindest and most knowledgeable florist. My mother recently got married and I wanted to have an exact replica of my grandmother's wedding bouquet to surprise my mom with. I met with Beth who explained all the ins and outs of the flowers that I wanted and how she could create this bouquet while saving my wallet! When the flowers were delivered, I was absolutely speechless. The cascading Calla Lily bouquet was probably the most stunning floral arrangement I had ever seen! I felt as if a piece of my grandmother was right beside me! Beth, your talents are endless! Thank you for being the awesome human you are and for bringing my vision to life!

Growing up in Dutchess County, my family and I have been long time patrons of Sabellico Greenhouse and Florals for all of our floral needs. After my initial wedding floral consult, I was informed that there were no notes on file for my date and that the florist I had spoken to had left the shop. At this point I was tempted to find an alternative florist. However, Beth was wonderful to speak to and noted all of my requests (particular flowers I liked- peonies and ranunculus, and ones I didn't like- carnations, lilies) and assured me she would follow up with a quote. The number I was quoted was very different than my initial quote and there was significant concern regarding snow, distance to my venue and an added delivery fee as a result. I understood concern regarding snow but given the location and how many years Sabellico has been in business I was confident they had experienced this previously and could execute on their end of the contract. I exchanged several emails and phone calls with Beth leading up to our big day. When there was snow forecasted, I spoke to Beth the morning prior to the wedding. She asked if she could deliver the flowers early to ensure that snow would not be a factor and that there wouldn’t be any hiccups on the day. Our reception venue and church obliged and my bridal party flowers were delivered to my parent’s house that evening. They assured me that there were no concerns about refrigerating the flowers and that they would stay fine in our basement as well as at the event spaces. Being sentimental, I opted not to see the bridal party bouquets prior to the wedding. I saw the church flowers prior to our rehearsal and was horrified. The flowers were not what was agreed on nor were the colors correct. Instead of blush, burgundy and white I was greeted with an arrangement of red roses and carnations. My mom communicated these concerns to Beth who did substitute blush roses and removed the carnations from the church flowers. However, no offer was made to assist with any of the other arrangements which were all wrong. We dispatched relatives to every open flower shop and grocery store (it’s 6 PM on a Friday) to get all the blush and white flowers possible to supplement. My mom and bridesmaids stayed up until midnight retying the bridesmaid bouquets. In no way is this how the night before my wedding should have been spent. There was never an explanation for this substitution and why the flowers included flowers that were not selected. All of the arrangements had purple flowers and berries that were not approved or communicated. I had requested a plain eucalyptus runner for our sweetheart table. The runner that was delivered included ribbon and blush roses. The blush roses were dead prior to the start of the reception. The greenery with ribbons I had requested for the church pews had the wrong color ribbons. My bridal bouquet was absolutely beautiful. It was not what I ordered (no peonies or ranunculus in sight) but it was beautiful. My flower girl’s custom arrangement was beautiful. However, the flowers were wilted and sad looking presumably because of the early delivery. My husband’s boutonniere was beautiful but it had wax flowers in it which were supposed to be real. I understand that supply chain challenges have complicated the floral process but communication would have made me more sympathetic and understanding of the substitutions. My cake was breathtaking but the flowers were red and wrong type wise. My centerpieces were beautiful but they were bare. Two to three larger flowers in a pedestal vase with greenery. Unacceptable for the price I paid. The red flowers in the boutonnieres looked ridiculous with the bridesmaids’ burgundy dresses. I am not one to leave negative reviews. However, I don’t want any bride to have to experience what I did on their wedding day. Given the hours I spent communicating with Sabellico and the amount of money I paid, there is absolutely no reason for the lack of transparency, communication and customer service.

What are the Covid safety practices like here?

We require all staff & customers to mask up. We clean & sterilize all high use/touch surfaces regularly. There is plenty of space to spread out so distancing hasn’t been a problem especially once the weather turns we are mostly an outdoor business so good air flow & many acres to spread out. If we see an indoor space becoming crowded we will limit the number of people inside the space until we feel it is not congested.
