Sad we live on the coast and the seafood restaurants around here are awful! This place included! Just about everything is fried!! Anything not fried costs an extra $3! All but one of us ordered a fried platter. The food came out barely warm and my shrimp was mushy not crispy. My father had shrimp and flounder. His flounder was dry, he only had maybe 3 bites. None of us finished our plates. Way overpriced for the quality! The only thing that was good was the hush puppies and the clam chowder. Although, the clams are minced up SO tiny and it could be thicker but the flavor was good. I gave it 2 stars because of those two food items and location. The interior could use updating and if anything, change out the windows!! People go there for the view and the windows are foggy and dirty. Our waitress was just ok. She was friendly in the beginning but I think when she realized we all didn’t finish our food and didn’t want to go boxes she got flustered or something idk. I don’t recommend this place, but there isn’t really any other place to dine at that end of the island. The Beach Shop & Grill is there but real pricey!! I wish the Dirty South was still around or someone would take that building and turn it into some place good!!

Why can't anyone hit a temp?!! Ordered mid rare burger....its the only item on the menu that would require a temp...came out well done of course. Now I don't base a review off of one missed temp, at a seafood place...but all the seafood was barely average as well. This was a much more budget friendly choice than the other place around the corner.... but to be honest.....I watched them both unloading their orders from Sysco.....odd to order frozen seafood from them when you are literally on the water. Go Local! Anyway...average place....old 80's decor, meaning it has never been updated. I believe the condiments had also been sitting out since then. Harsh words but am starting to be over businesses that won't invest in themselves.

I thought the food was okay. The waitress seemed a little new, but she was nice. The wait time wasn’t bad, atmosphere was fine. But we didn’t get a ton of food for our price. We had the hot crab dip appetizer that was $14 and it had waaay too much cream cheese in it. Couldn’t even really enjoy it. Honestly, red lobster is better. My wife had some crab soup, and there was literally no crab in it. I had the flounder platter for $17. It came with fries and coleslaw, and one strip of flounder. I honestly think I could’ve had better seafood at Long Johns. The hush puppies were pretty good though

Stopped for an early dinner back in May and was greeted with a huge smile and fantastic attitude! Cierra is a perfect stuff member of this restaurant! Please keep her for a long time. She made my day. My special requests (low sodium) was taken seriously and overall dining experience was beyond my expectations! I would love to be back again!

From the reports ive seen i think so. Just clean up to get things back up & running
I don't believe so. They are usually quick to seat people though.
Not that I saw
Im sorry but, no.
I dont know but they do make the best hush puppies on Topsail Island!
You can not make a reservation but if you can call and put your name on list before you get there. We always walk right in when we do that. The hush puppies are amazing!
$39 yes, it's worth if you love crab legs!
They are open year-round. Totally worth going to. Beat seafood restaurant in the area.
