1-Star for the pet area: beware the strip dedicated for your pets is not in any shade, and it’s near the interstate. I don’t understand why a shaded area closer to the facility can’t be used for pets. When we arrived, there were 8 families or so walking their dogs, so it’s busy enough for them to have a safer spot (as other rest stops have). God-forbid a pet gets loose or away from their owner…they could end up running toward traffic. Additionally, there’s no place to sit and eat if you have a pet; you’re restricted to the narrow strip dedicated to pets. 2-Stars overall, because at least the facility was clean.

The fixer

Very nice rest stop. Clean bathrooms and a nice sense of security.
