We wanted wings and salad and it was Sunday, we tried Empire Pizza in Indian Land. First off, the staff was so friendly and busy. The wings were big. My wife liked them, but I like mine a little more crispy--but they were good. Food and drinks came out quickly. The place was bright and clean. We will be back.

Walked in. No one greeted us. The bartender looked over at me like I was annoying him by being there. Finally, someone rudely tells us we are standing in the wrong place to be sat (there was like 1 table seated at the time, the place was empty). I get it. It's Sunday, people don't want to be at work. Okay no problem. Walk to the hostess stand, and this girl looked like we ruined her day by walking in. Maybe we did. She brings us to our table and that was the last an employee acknowledged us. We sat there waiting... and waiting... and waiting. Then a kids baseball team comes in. One of the dads says there are about 30 of them coming in. Okay that's fine. They start throwing a football around. The dads do nothing about it. Waitress comes out and helps them. Again, I get it. Large party flusters the staff, but there were other people who could have helped. So we decide that's enough and we walk out. Normally I'd say something, but I was aggravated. We walk to the car and this white trash dad sits at our table so quick it's like we weren't even there. That's not really the restaurants fault, but I know if I ran the restaurant I'd have never allowed that to happen. I'd have tried to alleviate the situation, but it's most likely the c staff didn't even notice because they were "too busy." We are at Lorenzo's now about 10 minutes away, and being treated great. Most people wouldn't be back, but I will. Can't wait to enjoy my pizza, beer, and five star service when we come back.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. We went when there was almost no one there. Walked in, was ignored by every employee there. Someone finally walked over and proceeded to tell us we needed to go see someone else to get sat. We walked over to the other girl who barely said a word to us and asked for a table outside. She brought us outside, not saying a word, and just sat the menus down on the table and walked away. Shortly after, a kids baseball team showed up and was sat outside also. Instead of the server coming over to us first, they went straight to the larger party and completely ignored the fact that we were there waiting. After waiting 10 minutes or so to be acknowledged, we ended up walking out. So I suggest if you actually want to eat here, show up in a large party. Apparently they'll serve you before anyone else 🤷‍♀️

The calzones and the wings are delicious!! I always order delivery through DoorDash but today we decided to dine in. The place has a fun vibe and the food comes out fairly quickly. The server was new though and struggled to answer our questions and couldn’t provide recommendations. However, she was very nice and was trying her best. Will be back for sure!
