I have been on hold for 4 hours waiting for someone to answer the phone. This is ridiculous. There is NO reason a persons hold time should be 4 hours.

I had to get my health license renewed. I checked their website and they're office (in Wheaton) is open until 4pm. I come by at 12:30 to be told they only do licensing from 8-12. 1) put that on your website 2) that's ridiculous. If you're open, be open.

They say there is a way to apply online, but I'm not sure. But if you do go into the building PLEASE make sure it is the correct building. They go by zip code. Either the silver spring, Rockville, or germantown office. And when you do go, go first thing in the morning and plan on spending at the minimum 3 hours. I have only ever seen a few people applying for the first time get in and out. Have all your documents ready. Discard, birth certificate and VALID ID. And atleast 3 proof of residence.deed, lease, utility bill, ss check...stuff like that.bring water, crackers and a good book or magazine.
It's locked up so people like yourself wondering how to steal it, can't.
