Hotel was very nice. My room was obviously recently remodeled and I did not experience any of the negative issues others have mentioned. The breakfast area was clean and had a good assortment for a hotel buffet style breakfast. You could see construction materials on the ground in the parking lot but there was no safety concerns from rhe materials. I was happy with the hotel.

The first night we were greeted by a roach in the kitchen area. The second night there was a swarm of roaches in the kitchen area. (There was no food around.) The next morning there was a roach in the shower. I reported this to the front desk and a maintenance person was sent to the room. I told him where the roaches were seen. He sprayed behind the refrigerator and then asked me to move the clean glasses from the counter. When I moved the glasses to the cabinet a roach was CRAWLING ON MY HAND! The maintenance man sprayed it after I shook it off. He then stated he was leaving but would be back to complete the job. While I was sitting on the sofa watching TV, a roach was crawling beside me on the sofa. When the maintenance man returned he informed me that we could either stay in the room for the last night or move to another room. Of course I opted to move. He suggested I shake everything out before moving. He left to get a cart for me but there wasn't any available. Since my husband was out attending the VFW Convention, it was left to me to shake out our clothing and make several trips back and forth hauling our luggage and other possessions. It's hard for me to believe that we were the first guests to report that Rm. 320 was infested with roaches. And the $30 deducted from our bill is not adequate compensation for the inconvenience and the horrible experience of having a roach crawling on me!

Although this hotel is a little dated and in need of a Cosmetic Renovation, (not just the carpet, and tub removal), I really enjoyed my stay. The Bed was comfortable, my needs were addressed Effectively and Efficiently, and the Staff were all quite Friendly and welcoming. Thank you, Chance and staff!

I reserved the suit. It advertised a king size beds, it was more like a small queen. The room was in serious need of repairs. Pictures missing, but holes remained. The bottom of the dishwasher was missing leaving exposed wires. Big stain on the carpet. The lights above the sink do not work. Trim through out the room was broken off the walls. There was still food residue on the plates and silverware. Wall paper peeling off the walls. Other than that, the room was great!
