As a former Solid Waste worker for COJ, I have to say this place sucks. The head supervisor always trying to be something special to the crowd and playing favoritism. Yes, that is anywhere in any workplace. They didn't want me to drive a route but had drivers whom would be on a cellphone all day and could not back a garbage truck at all! More I can say about the head leadership but I rather not waste more energy.

It took them 3 weeks to come pick up my yard waste. I had to call 630-CITY five times and they had to contact Solid Waste several times including emailing a manager. They never left a note saying anything was wrong. Very incompetent and unprofessional. This aggravation is why people dump illegally. I'm hoping for the city to hire a different waste collection company.

Yes put it out the day before your trash day
Thanx for being a good citizens but we the City of Jacksonville solid waste division we don't work with rear loader have a great weekend
Call 630-CITY(2489), collection day for that type material depends on where you live. They can give you the correct answer
