I really want to like this place more because the grounds and lake are gorgeous but the price for 1 night is steep and you don't get much besides a bed. No mini fridge, have to pay for wifi after 30 minutes I think it was, no cell service. And these aren't major players to not book here and try for yourself, but I just wouldn't stay again personally. The Breakfast meal was really good I will say! We stayed in a boat house room. Overall It seemed like the place was more geared towards older adults (40 +)

We had lunch at the restaurant at a table that overlooked the big lawn in front of the lake. Beautiful views, cool and rainy and with lots of robins picking over the lawn. The menu for lunch was limited, but the food was good. The service was excellent. The dining area itself is over 100 years old as is the lodge. It's a real gem with lots of history. If you're in the area driving by on highway 10, it's definitely worth a visit.

The lodge is amazing and really feels like you've stepped back in time. We thought hanging out in the great room with a drink by the fire was fun in the evenings. There are lots of seating options and games to play. We stayed in a boathouse room with a lake view. The room was updated, comfortable and clean. The bed and pillows were super comfy too which was a nice surprise! The only thing that would have made our stay 5 stars is if the rooms had a fridge and maybe a microwave. Theres not very many food options around, especially in the off season and eating at the lodge restaurant each meal would get old and expensive as it's fairly overpriced and doesn't have a huge selection. Having a fridge in the room would be great so we could bring healthy food options and have easy food to take on the go for hikes. It's a beautiful place, even in the rain it was great to sit out and enjoy the lodge grounds and lake view! We were pretty excited to catch the beautiful sunset over the lake too!

Beautiful historic lodge. The lobby and back deck are a nice spot to hang out, and there's a path right down to the water. The restaurant is on the expensive side, but it's a nice setting and the view is fantastic if you are seated by the windows. Rooms seem small but adequate. No TV, fridge, microwave, or clocks in the main lodge rooms. There was a K-cup coffee maker. Bathrooms are small and the sink is in the room itself. You get 30 minutes of free wifi per day. It's great for making you unplug since cell reception was spotty and poor there. Definitely has a historic feel with the steam radiator for heat. The main lodge it a cool place to spend some down time.

Hi Ricky, the hot tub and pool are currently unavailable and boat rentals are currently open to lodge guests only. You may see the complete list of updates at https://www.olympicnationalparks.com/alerts/2020/covid-19-guest-updates/
Hi Frank, we have rates listed on our website at https://www.olympicnationalparks.com/things-to-do/boat-paddleboard-rentals-olympic-peninsula/ For one person, the hourly rate is $25 and a half-day rental is $60.
I don't think so. They do permit dogs, however. I would not take a cat there. Lots of predator birds (eagles, owls, etc.)that would likely enjoy a nice supper of cat.
Yes, but entry is limited and you have to reserve slots ahead of time
Yes they do, also coffee maker. But that's it. No phone, no tv, no microwave, no elevator, but we love the rustic quiet !
We have a new WiFi network that should work in all rooms. It is satellite based, and thus is not super fast. Cell service is very spotty, unless you have Verizon, in which case you can get some service, which is better closer to the lake. Thanks for your interest! Wesley Wright LQL Front Desk
Unfortunately, the Lake Quinault Lodge Pool and Saunas are not available to campers. These amenities for guests staying at the Lodge.
No mini fridges in the main building and no tv... but we had one in our room, in the building which was close by, and a nice balcony too.
Would not hold 300 inside but as an outside venue overlooking the lake it would be spectacular.

Yes they are open all year. Winter rates are definitely lower than the peak summer season.
Didn't get a chance to try. Called ahead for reservations and left a message because noone at front desk. 3 hours later they hadn't checked messages so we didn't get to eat there. Didn't want to pay sit down prices for take out! Had a great meal at Dino's about 5 miles away. Next day couldn't get reservations for breakfast either. Had a nice breakfast at Quinault Internet Cafe!
so far they say yes
