Topcoat did an amazing job perfecting the stain on the cabinets of our custom home office project as well as matching the stain of our shiplap on our lanai. Would definitely recommend.

We were looking for a company to refinish our kitchen table set to match the new cabinets. I found three furniture refinishers in the Naples Florida area and visited them all, but didn't like the other two. Top Coat did an amazing job of matching the color and finish of our cabinets. Even my wife is thrilled, which is not easy. The men that picked up and delivered our furniture were very careful moving the pieces in and out of the house. One area that could be improved is communication. Now these are workers (craftsmen) in a shop, not salesmen. The shop is noisy and they don't always return call promptly. They are part of Pohl Custom Cabinets nearby and I found it much easier to work through Pohl who always answer their phone or texts promptly. The key thing for us is the quality of the work and it is excellent.

Questions & Answers

I have a kitchen baker's rack in a dark wood that I would like to refinish in a lighter wood. It can be sanded and refinished or painted. Are you able to do this?

No, it can not be restained lighter unless the entire pieces is stripped down to bare wood. Even then the wood has to be a light wood to be able to achieve a lighter color. If it were Mahogany or Walnut, probably not. Might be a rebuild. Daniel

Do you have furniture painting classes ?

We do not have any classes set up at this time. We may do that in the future. Sorry.

Can you help with 19th century antiques that may have powder post beetles?

Yes, we have done many of them, I would get it in a freezer for 5 days, or get it in a house that is tented for termites. This is how termites are eliminated from furniture. Dan
