Beautiful experience

The public gives NASA 350 million dollars every week, and what do they do with so much money? They fake space using CGI images and camera tricks, and build silly museums to perpetrate the lie that Earth is a spinning globe. 1 star is too generous a rating for such a crime. We want the truth.

It is of course a great experience to be here.

NASA is still mostly remote working. The parkway gate is closed because the bridge is deteriorating. Also food trucks instead of cafeterias.

You can enter to the visitor center at any time (follow the schedule). But to enter to the GSFC is not possible unless you have a valid reason to visit and sponsorship
There isn't a cost to enter, but you must be accompanied by someone who is either a sponsor or an employee
Yes, we took our son's to DC and the Smithsonian & they enjoyed the Special Visitors Day at Goddard the best; going into the buildings and seeing actual Spacecraft being built & getting an incredible close to them; 1 1/2 hours long. My boys were 9 and 12! Dorothy from NJ
Yes, this is funded by US tax dollars and falls under congressional funding for discretionary federal agencies. If your annaul taxes was $1, then less then a tenth of a penny goes to NASA
Goddard is still open. Still have events for visitors occasionally.
Yes really
Some Astronomy and a great scaled down moon and red planet projection.
At the visitor center yes, you can't enter the campus unless you have a reason to, and have someone sponsoring you.
You should check the differing contracts on center; ie there's one for mechanical engineering work (ETIS and MIST), electrical work (ESES), etc. Likewise, precision cleaning, facility maintenance, transport all have govt contracts awarded every 5 years so they change often. Currently, Peraton has the ETIS3 contract, not sure about the others...
No. It is no longer at Goddard.
The only thing open to the public is the visitors center that is small and I think it's more geared towards grade school kids like a museum. If you live close to it then you should check it out but far away is not worth it.
Per person or per pound of freight? Are you willing to join the astronaut program?
President Beed District Marathi Press Association? Okay what's your question?
Process? Not sure what you mean.
It's named after Robert Goddard, the father of liquid fuel rocket development.
Yes
Call up the security office at the main gate. They will have all the info.
