Submitted an online order through the website and took the 40 min drive to pick up from Mars Hill. Got there and the place is CLOSED. No notice on the website. Their Dine-In system (the online ordering system on the website) went live at noon and took the order at dinner time with no notification orders would not be accepted. (I just checked again and the site says they are open for orders again tomorrow). There is a hand-written sign on the window that they are closed for building repairs. This is terrible customer service. There is no indication anywhere they are closed until you actually arrive. Insult to injury was the waste of gas. Edit: I just discovered their Facebook page that discussed being closed. When I am looking for food, I don't visit Facebook. The place has been closed since at least September- plenty of time to update a website and pause ordering service!

Great experience, food delicious. We ordered pizzas, gnocchi, pastas, and everything tasted great. We love the service, you can eat outside or in, it is small, but don't get confuse, the food will make it up!!!!!!

This is a gem of a restaurant in Burnsville NC. It’s a quaint place with indoor/outdoor (we went in winter with snow on the ground so can’t speak towards to outdoor area) seating. There’s a small bar in the corner. They serve a decent variety of wines, beer & hard ciders. No liquor. We had the 911 honey apple crisp hard cider and the Moscato wine. Both of us were pleased. We ordered the 6 oz Filet Mignon with the “potato tart” - which is sort of like layered scalloped potatoes with melted Brie cheese & I want to say real bacon bits cooked in. Very tasty. We went on my birthday and were offered both a free drink and a free desert of Tiramisu. Our waiter was very pleasant! Also the other patron sitting at the bar was too. We will be back here anytime we come through Burnsville again.

Really excellent pizza. Hand stretched crust that is easily as good as anything you're going to find anywhere. Impressive beer and cider offering and wine. Cozy atmosphere, and a pleasant attentive staff. Will be visiting again when I'm the region next.
