I had heard great things about this place until most recently when speaking to a customer I regularly check in on who used to live there. She fell multiple times in different places on the property. On one occurrence, she slipped on a wet leaf that was on a walking area that should have been cleaned. She fell, hit her head, and was bleeding. She was then visited by someone who initially came a cross as if they were trying to help, telling her that she had the right to sue. They were representing Vantage Point but then, for two hours, talked her out of pursuing monetary compensation to help her pay for all the medical bills. He insisted that he would stay there until she signed and wore her out to the point where she got tired and just signed something saying she wouldn't sue. He instilled the fear that Vantage Point would bring in the best of lawyers to fight the case against her. She was also afraid that if she sued, the staff and administration would place a black spot on her. This shocked me, and I felt the urgency to share her story. I suggest coaching any family member in the facility to involve you in any conversation with any member of the Vantage Point staff who offers to help after a situation like this. My customers is now at a much better place. After a long-awaited hip surgery from one of the falls, she moved to another retirement home and is now much happier.

We had such a delicious dinner with fruit, stuffed flounder, yummy dessert and wine. The flowers were such a lovely touch, and everything was packaged beautifully. This was our favorite out of all the delicious meals we have had. Thank you so much.

Such a lovely place to live! My mother lived there, and I was always comfortable when I travelled that she was happy and safe. I look forward to moving in myself - in the heart of downtown Columbia!
