In our search for a wedding venue, we wanted somewhere in Baltimore City limits that would hold 200 people, let us bring our own beer, and let us pick our own caterer. The Space at 2640 St. Paul Street checked all of our boxes. It was a bonus that it was a special place to us as a couple (chili brew, BROS shows, and craft fairs). The venue matches our style perfectly (delightfully run-down; extra rustic) and we knew it was the perfect space for us from the moment we toured it. This space is run by a non-profit, but they were always willing to work with our schedule to tour the space and discuss plans with vendors. They include a clean up crew and one of their staff members was always on-site day-of. There are a few cons. No open flames. Booooooo. They also do not have central air. We thought we were safe with an end of April wedding, but it ended up being 90 degrees that day. You have to be prepared for anything. Also, they only do two events per month, so book early and book often! In general, they gave us a lot of freedom to do what we wanted and were pleasant to work with and reasonably priced. I am so glad we were able to get married here.
