You could but its more suited to large wedding receptions, birthday, retirement parties. If your shower has 100 or more, then yes

There is a large warming kitchen, you would also have to use a licensed and insured caterer as there are strict rules about food handling and serving people in the facility. It is owned by M-NCPPC Prince George's Parks and Recreation, so you would have to call them or go to their rental office at the Ballroom to know if the day you want is available and complete your rental application.
