Right at Home of Northern Virginia used multilevel monitoring systems to ensure our caregivers are where they need to be and are providing the care your loved one requires. To start, we hire less than 10% of applicants and our active caregivers have an average of 12 years of experience so we are only hiring and retaining the best. Once a caregiver joins our team, we have an extensive orientation, in-person training programs, and online CEU programs to ensure every caregiver meets the state educational requirements. As for monitoring, we use an electronic visit verification system, client and caregiver signed activity sheets, and a change-in-condition monitoring system to ensure your loved one doesn't need emergency support. Also, our caregivers may be included in the initial client assessment and regular reassessments performed by the nursing supervisor. We take caregiver management seriously which is why Right at Home of Northern Virginia has been a Home Care Pulse Provider of Choice every year since 2015!

With Right at Home of Northern Virginia, YES - about half of our clients have alternative payer sources! Right at Home of Northern Virginia is one of the few approved vendors for the VA Homemaker Home Health Aide program and we have been supporting our local veterans since 2012. Our Accounts Specialist can help you or your loved one get approved for hourly support covered by your VA benefits before or after you've started care. Right at Home of Northern Virginia is also one of the very few agencies that accept Assignment of Benefits (AOB's) through LTC Insurance. This allows Right at Home to send the necessary information and invoices directly to your LTC Insurance company and collect payment for services without you having to get involved! Right at Home caregivers provide the same level of care as an Assisted Living Community from the comfort of your loved ones home. Our in-home caregivers provide general household support such as laundry, light housekeeping, transportation, and meal preparation as well as personal hygiene support such as bathing, dressing, help with mobility, and using the restroom. Our dedicated team of nurses and care supervisors provide around the clock support to you, your loved one, and our in-home care staff. Our nurses assist with client advocacy, emergency support, and collaborating with other medical providers. Our care supervisors ensure our in-home caregivers have your loved ones medical history, a copy of the care plan, and special instructions like where to park and expected tasks throughout the shift. Our team is committed to providing individualized care through enthusiastic management practices and multi-level collaboration.

Right at Home provides in-home companion and personal care services and while many of our clients use durable medical equipment such as wheelchairs or walkers, we do not sell these items. Some of these items can be covered by medicare or other insurances so my recommendation would be to talk with your physician before making any purchases.
