Fun and informative, Edible Native Plant walk was happening at 10 on Wed . Very nice children and dog park areas. Butterfly part was closed . Big spacious area for picnics . Mangrove trail mulched part way but really wet from rains . Trail with water lookouts and tower with great views is fun because it's not smooth so you watch your step ,birds, plants ,and benches for just enjoying or fishing , all at the same time .

Excellent park, makes for a great leisurely walk with great views and entertainment for the kids. Dog park is also excellent! Highly recommended!

Lots to do here and plenty of neat things to see. I definitely recommend hiking the nature trail!

Have never seen in the playground areas. Have seen them in other areas of the park..
I am not positive, but it's a conservation park...even catch and release would be disruptive..I have been going there for 3 years and have never seen anyone fishing..in JayCee park in the SE people fish all the time. Hope that helps.
