Best Shoney's! Wife noticed fish was not on the buffet. She asked the waitress about it. Found out that they do not do it every night. The waitress went and had them fry some fresh for my wife, no extra charge. She was extremely friendly! Service was great! We will stop by every time we're traveling through.

Had the buffet and it wasn't good. Meat was tough. Instant potatoes. Hair found in dessert. Fake ice cream. Guess the salad was ok. It wasn't just iceberg lettuce which is nice. Shrimp cocktail was ok too.

So shoney's has a special place in my heart because it's where my dad always like to eat breakfast when he was still alive, so we tend to stop in them when we see them. I will tell you that our wait person was lovely. She was gracious and helpful and attentive. Breakfast buffet was definitely on the lower quality half compared to what we've had in the past. Biscuit was super dry, chicken had more breading than chicken and eggs were a little rubbery, but definitely sufficed for road food breakfast with a drop of nostalgia for me. Was really surprised when our wait person ran my credit card to pay and did not run it through with tip! I asked her "how do I tip?" And she said that she hadn't thought about it cuz nobody else did! I was totally bummed out to hear that, we ran to the car and found what we could in cash for the tip. She deserved it.

Friday night seafood buffet was advertised as a "steak and seafood buffet." There is no steak. They had fried clams, oysters, shrimp, catfish, white fish, and chicken. All were excellent. The only baked option was salmon. Also served at the buffet is salad with a good array of toppings and several desserts. If you're doing keto, this isn't the place! Friendly service.
