Having suffered a fairly significant brain injury and a broken back a few years ago, I was just coming to terms with the fact that I had changed. I know others had seen the changes but I had not been able to accept it. Struggling with not only my overall health but also with my changing cognitive functions had me worried. When I first heard about Aviv I was somewhat skeptical of it being able to help me. Doing my due diligence as much as I could I started to see some things that made sense. I spent considerable time attended the free talks and presentations put on by the staff at Aviv and learned many things that put the whole program into perspective. At this point my wife and I made the decision to invest in our health and future and joined the program. It was probably the best thing I had ever done for myself! The staff at the clinic is without a doubt the best I have ever been associated with. From the moment you enter the facility you are greeted and treated as family. Throughout the process from the initial assessment to the medical testing and review, the nutritional information and reviews, the physical therapy and training, and the cognitive assessments, you recognize that everyone is genuinely interested in helping you. For me, the program has brought me back to the person I remember. The cognitive decline I had been feeling is gone and I have a much clearer mind and thought process. The fog I felt every morning has been replaced by an optimistic outlook for each day. Physically I am able to do things that I had not been able to do for twenty five years. I was extremely pleased with my experience and outcomes from the treatment program I participated in at the AVIV clinic. All staff members were polite, knowledgeable, invested in my health, and assisted in beneficial lifestyle changes. Going into the AVIV program, I was hopeful of seeing improvement in my cardiovascular system, increasing blood flow to my heart and brain.
