I cannot say enough GOOD things about Stephen and this Pinch A Penny Location (store #162). My story is definitely unique but so is there customer service! My husband and I finished having our pool installed in May of 2022 and due to the curing time we didn't start using our salt chlorinator in early July 2022. It was working really well but quickly realized we would need a pool vacuum to pick up the debris on the bottom of the pool. We did our research and asked the company that installed our pool for recommendations and ended up at the Oldsmar Pinch A Penny. Kelly helped us understand the differences between all of the types of vacuums and made very helpful suggestions. We went back after weighing our options and purchased the vacuum that Kelly suggested. The vacuum she suggested worked SO well! We felt like we were finally getting the hang of pool ownership. However, shortly after our purchase, in early August 2022, we had a HUGE strike of lightning hit our home and unfortunately it fried the vacuum, salt chlorinator and pool light. We went into this Pinch A Penny and spoke with Donna and Stephen and they were extremely helpful. Donna went right away at getting in contact with the warranty company to see what we could do about the vacuum. Stephen was extremely helpful in explaining and walking us through some things that he thought we might be able to do to fix the rest of our pool equipment. He gave us a piece of the motherboard to try and replace as well as some other bits and pieces all complimentary. Unfortunately, all of it was unsuccessful and we had to have the electrical company that helped install our pool out to get everything checked out. In the end the entire motherboard of the salt chlorinator was fried and so was the pool light. Luckily, we are able to get this all replaced under warranty with the electrical company, however, Stephen and his team over at Oldsmar Pinch A Penny are truly so helpful and wonderful in attempting to help us. As we wait for our other pool equipment to be fixed Stephen has ordered us a new vacuum and is giving us a discount on it. Kelly walked us through how to keep our pool clean while the chlorinator is out of commission. I truly cannot thank this store and their team enough for all of their help. My husband and I will NOT use another pool store now that we have found the Pinch A Penny in Oldsmar!

I store Pool water testing. Be very careful as they make mistakes on the pool testing. If their tests results is odd, go to another store and retry. Once they tried to sell pounds of water hardener all by mistake. Their staff not equally trained.
