I was here but once I got here and after classes they drove me to the Half way house but this rehab wasn't for me . Just because I wanted to leave they were a little ruin and some of my stuff was missing plus they didn't give me my medicine and the lady gave my me the wrong address on purpose so my ride couldn't find me and gave me a hard time because I wanted to leave and at least 1 of the nurses gave me a hard time because I asked her for help . Lady need to get a job not helping people plus she was in desperate need on working on her communications skills .I don't know why she gots a job helping people if she doesn't wanna help people.

Where do I start?! Absolutely love this place! I've had my struggles and been to many treatment places but none like Soul Surgery. I was in an out of detox/treatment centers not being able to maintain sobriety shortly after leaving the treatment centers. Something was missing and that something was Soul Surgery! They offer the Back2Basics program which few treatment centers do. It gives you an outline of the A/A Program for those interested in A/A. It's life changing for the better! Soul Surgery has the best staff and peers around who are so supportive with your recovery every single day making the atmosphere positive and uplifting! My case manager Ariel has helped me through my struggles and little doubts I have had throughout my journey(which were very few... this place is awesome 👌) She made me feel secure in my recovery and reassured she would meet my needs and she absolutely did! She not just talked the talk she walked the walk! There's so much more I could say about soul Surgery but if you're serious about your recovery and staying sober Soul Surgery is the spot! GET YOUR LIFE BACK!

It has taken me a while to give a review of this program and a year later (6-7 months ago discharged from Soul Surgery) of sobriety I feel like it is time to write an honest review. I will be blunt with my criticisms and just as much so with my complements.My time at Soul Surgery was complicated but all around a positive one. I was entered into the program in September of 2021 with around 30 days of sobriety beforhand from another program. Pros of the Soul Surgery program are the tiered approach to sobriety. Detox→Treatment→IOP. My therapist was amazing and not only created tools too keep me sober but was able to dig deep into other issues just like any non substance abuse therapist will do. The therapists are what makes soul surgery great. Another pro is the med spa, or ancillaries as they like to call them now. Basically massages acupuncture ect. The pools, gym, outdoor grills and patios are a plus. But now onto the cons... While I was there all food was repetitive bland microwaved meals, not the luxury chef cooked meals they advertised. They use a company that delivers to rehabs all over the valley (recover meals). The BHT's ( the people that look over the patients at the houses) are generally under trained (and underpaid!) but this unfortunately is the case at most treatment facilities. The medical care (and I hope this has changed) is sub-par. The on staff doctor and nurse are great. The contracted psychiatrist is very concerning. I was heavily pressured into taking different medications (from a 5 min medical assessment) than what I was currently taking, and my refusal to accept these different medications was meet with resistants from the Dr and house staff. Luckily my awesome therapist came to my defence. Key takeaways: the therapist are awesome!!!! meetings and activities are productive. The medical is ok and the food is honestly garbage (food is moral!). All in all this program is very organized and maintained, but has many areas that it can improve on. I wouldn't hesitate sending a loved one or yourself here.
