Before coming to Duluth from Minneapolis, we searched for Mexican restaurants to meet up with friends and have lunch. This place had good reviews so we met here. What a mistake! The four of us were seated and after waiting for over an hour for our food I had to seek out a waitress and ask about our order as tables seated well after us had already received and eaten their food. The waitress was very snotty and said she would check the status. She said our order was next and would be right out. Another 25 minutes before our order came. The waitress just said rudely “ there you go”. And never came back again. We had to ask for the bill. Total time before food came after ordering was one 1 hour 45 min !!!!! And the place was not packed. VERY POOR SERVICE. Will definitely never go here again and will be sure family and friends don’t either

It’s clean and has a good vibe. Great service from the barkeep, Liv. Cadillac margarita is on point. Got the rancher with jalapeños. Burrito reminds me of Chipotle and Qdoba—rice forward. “Carnitas” was an afterthought. All waded up in one end. Carnitas should have a golden crisp from it’s own fat—Dutch oven. This was shredded pork and watery. I get it. As that previous moron of a reviewer pointed out, it’s not Mexican. But when you list carnitas, it should be carnitas. The burritos should be mind blowing for $14 bones. The Fitgers presence is everywhere—swag, beer, website, menu. Don’t have their own identity. And wash those 4th street windows, place looks closed. Good IPA though. Happy hour everyday from 3-6!

This place is awesome JUST GO ! The menu is friendly to all ways of eating/life styles. We went there around lunch hour and the service was still quick ! Food was fresh and presentation and service were on point! Cool entertaining decor and spacious seating. Great staff and location is great for parking spots!

If Burrito Union created a telenovela it would have to be titled “the bland and the boring”, seriously don’t waste your time. Jack cheese and romaine lettuce on an “authentic” taco… yeah I’ll just go to chipotle.

Went and ate in a week or two ago, masks on til you get a drink/food. Parties are pretty spaced for social distancing
Thanks for your inquiry, Barbara. We do not sell houses. We sell burritos and craft beer.
The bar is open. Patrons maybe finishing their dinner as well.
Is burriro union open on thanks giving?
