I am very upset about the lack of communication for the team, you have to check in at a kiosk, and it’s gives you and option of a time to see a specialist and then it turns out the appointment is for 2 hours after you schedule it. Im sure they do good work, but don’t offer a time, and then make it for 2 hours later.

Warning do not wast your time with this place. Was told by my normal physician to go to this place as they are not versed in HIV medications for prevention and care cool I appreciate the honesty from my medical provider. First visit was great was working with Paul which is no longer working at this facility. Got a new NP I believe there name was Leah to work with and was told my insurance denied our claim to put me on a new medication like insurance does. Come to find out they took down incomplete medical history from my first visit and lied about getting my medical records from my previous provider. I know they lied since I had my old medical provider BCC'd to me in the email with the records I requested to be sent out. How do I get my complete medical history via email and they didn't? When I called them to question about this I then get scolded by my assigned NP Leah over the phone at which point because I caught them lying to me. I requested to speak with the director on duty at the time which I believe was named Taylor to report the terrible bed side manner and rude etiquette regarding my care and treatment. This was the last straw for me as it was clear that they don't care about giving good care which shows since they gave me a medication that no pharmacy had and then put me back on medication that was shown to be damaging my body based on my blood test results. All in all if you want to risk your health and treated like garbage by your health care provider this is the place for you. If you like to survive and protect yourself and partners I would for sure look some where else.

Great idea, Mark. Any HIV+ person can receive services at the McDowell Clinic. They take Medicare, AHCCCS and most private insurance. And if the person qualifies for Ryan White funding (depends on income) there is also a dental clinic which takes the Delta Dental insurance RW pays for. I highly recommend both clinics as well as the Southwest Center which is a completely separate facility that you can check out online.
