If you are looking for a fancy gym, this is not the place. Otherwise a decent gym

Good gym. Could be much better with a little updating. I wish they would charge more in order to cover the BASICS like what needs to be upgraded and simple/basic necessities...(pool, restrooms, A/C, towels for cleaning the machines on both floors.) After months of member’s complaining they finally put a split A/C in the upstairs area. Next order of business i guess is getting them to turn it on. 75-76 is hardly A/C. Tin roof so zero service. Wifi in the place is a joke. Staff said its poor because too many people are on the same wifi at the same time…. Is it that hard to get a wifi router that has the capacity to cover the facility. Again. I would gladly pay double for basic things that at every other gym aren’t considered “amenities” Not sure why they have “staff” they do not leave the front desk. Certainly dont clean, monitor or maintain the machines or bathrooms. When you bring a concern to them they acknowledge it as if your the 100th person to bring it to their attention, but do zero to correct any concern brought to them. Hard to expect the hourly staff to be accountable when you have zero management. Fans throw dust and dirt on you when your under them. Restrooms are always muggy/humid and smell like a sewage plant. When 24/7 fitness opens I will moving their immediately.

Not too crowded, didn't have to wait at all for any stations. Very reasonable price

My friend who was an English major at College of Central Florida & later UF wrote their (Ocala) gym a 2 page letter regarding this a few years ago. I just assumed if they didn't change it by now, they never will. Unsure why they spelled it that way originally.
The prices have recently went up. It is now $160 for the year for new members although sometimes you can work something out a bit cheaper for instance if you sign up with another person at the same time you can both join for $120 each, sometimes $99 each. When it comes time to renew though you pay $120 a year. You can get a free guest pass from their website to try it out. They charge $10 a day if you only want a daily pass so it's much more worth it to pay by the year even if you know you aren't going 5 days a week. For a month pass I think it is close to $50 so that's really not worth it either.
Anthony...they just put a new motor in the hot tub (in Dunnellon) ...used it on Monday...all the jets work, it was great...the staff is wonderful, always helpful!
Yes. Most of their classes actually are for Silver Sneakers. I have been told by several people that their gym membership is free or discounted from their Health Insurance due to the classes they offer here.
Hi Mary Jo, You do have to be a member of the club. They can split the membership fee's, and allow you to pay 1/2 this month & 1/2 next month, though, so you don't have to pay everything up front.
You would have to call I don't have that schedule
About a week needed to replace the heater and get the water temp back to that warm temperatures once again. Check back for further updates.
