Nice setting. Right at the entrance to the canyon. No hook ups. Dump station and water station. No problems finding a spot for my 41 foot RV. Saw a 45 foot here also. Only a few pull through. First come first served. Get here before 4 to assure a spot.

A great base for canyon exploration. The park is just OK. Lots of burrs from the weeds to injure puppys paws. Water is available from low spigots however they cut the threads off so you cannot use a hose to fill tall containers or your tank. Too much light pollution for star gazing. We enjoyed our two nights of dry camping here and felt safe. Staff was friendly.

Extremely reasonable. Water available and flush toilets. No showers. Super convenient to canyon de chelly. Chinle az.

Do not stay here. The campground is right off a highway so traffic noise is constant all night long. Lights from the Thunderbird Lodge next door are on all night. Fires are not allowed. As other reviews have mentioned, dogs in the surrounding neighborhood bark all night. To top it off, the bathroom are locked at night until 8 in the morning, so if you have to use the bathroom in the night or when you wake up, you are out of luck! While we were here some people were going outside because they were so desperate, but there isn’t any privacy and that is definitely not sanitary. The only plus of this place is that it is close to the visitors center. I’ll say it again- don’t stay here.

$14 per night when I stayed there about 6 months ago.
Yes - although only about 1/3rd the campground is open during winter. We were there last Friday(Dec 13th). The shower facilities and water hookups are not available. The restrooms are open from 8am - 5pm.
We only had one come knocking as I guess you have to pay in cash. We got in after dark and after closing both nights.
No hook ups.
Canyon de Chelly.....an unexpected gem. Enjoy.
If I remember correctly it cost about $14 a night. There are no water or electric hookups. The spaces are nicely spaced and paved. If going during the warm season I highly recommend you get a shaded spot. The bathroom does have running water and flush toilets. We brought our own water because last year they were having a severe drought. It is first come first serve. A good resource is the National Park Service website: https://www.nps.gov/cach/planyourvisit/outdooractivities.htm
