The team that did the installation and installed a totally new full duct system. They started promptly on Friday morning, did not leave until around 6:30 pm, showed me a couple of times along the way, the progress. Ismael and Cristian worked all day Saturday and did an amazing job. No mess was left. Left the area so clean it did not look like service people had been doing work. They were very well mannered, professional and even pointed out an issue with my electric fuse box, that could be a big problem. I recommend this company and these HVAC technicians without doubt! Mike is who I worked with on what to do about my dying air conditioner. He did not stop helping until he and I had an answer to my problem.

Being a Club Member has its perks! From start to finish I received excellent service. The technician (Ricky) kept me in the loop ie texting me when to expect his arrival (he was on time), he was professional, very knowledgeable and explained what the problem was. To my surprise he said he will have the part later in the day and will return the next day to install. He did just that! Thank You!

Great question! A heat pump is just like an air conditioner, with the exception that in the winter time, it transfers heat from outside to inside. When it gets colder outside, the outdoor unit will have ice accumulate on the coil (this is normal). To remove the ice, the outdoor unit goes into a "defrost mode" to thaw it out. The unit temporarily switches to the cooling mode and the outdoor fan turns off. The warm refrigerant circulates through the outdoor coil to melt the ice. Water vapor (like steam) is generated at the end of this process and can look like smoke is coming from the unit. Once the cycle has ended, the unit switches back to the heating mode and the outdoor fan turns back on, causing a quick burst of water vapor to come out of the top. That is a common question we get when homeowners are new to heat pump operation. Thank you for your question!!
Shortages and inflation have impacted every area of our lives. HVAC equipment has been significantly affected. All major equipment manufacturers are scheduled to increase prices significantly in January of 2022. Also, shortages of equipment continue. Now is the time to have comfort, energy savings all winter, before January 1st, 2022 price increases.
An air conditioner should never leak refrigerant unless there is something that has happened - this is a closed system. It is very important before adding refrigerant to find out why the freon (refrigerant) is low. This is done through a leak search by a qualified technician. Just like tires that have specified air pressures, air conditioners have a specified amount of refrigerant for proper charge that is unique to that system. Our technicians weigh in the refrigerant using electronic gauges to get the pressures right. If your system is over or undercharged it will cost more to operate and impact the life of the air conditioner.
Your AC drain line should always terminate outside of your home and be above the grade level. This allows for proper cleaning and also ability to verify the drain is working properly. A buried drain line will not drain properly and could cause a backup and possible damage to your home.
