These guys just keep sending unsolicited mail, despite the very clear feedback on this platform, that advises them otherwise. I figured I'd respond to the letter. Attached is my response. Also, I'm a staunch atheist, and their letter writing campaign to someone who rejects the supernatural is quaint and laughable, let alone to use the tactics that would only appeal to guilt-stricken lapsed parishioners. It's kind of sad, really. However, in the spirit of magnanimity, I tried to be as charitable as possible in my letter. I'll let you know if they respond. I value dialogue over contention (present message excluded).

Your unsolicited mail is very triggering to the people that have been victimized by your cult.

What Debbie wrote is spot on! Very creepy to send unsolicited mail, a huge turn off. Off to the shredder it goes…a waste of paper and postage resources.

Please don’t send unsolicited mail. If someone is interested then they’ll call or come to your church. Sending your material to my house with my name, or “current resident “ is shady and in no way are you accomplishing your goal. It’s easy to sit and look up random names and put a stamp on an envelope. That’s also just lazy and insincere and in no way, attractive. Which is what religion should be based on: attraction, NOT promotion.
