Clean cabins, quiet place to relax. My wife and I went for it anniversary last in 2020 and we enjoyed it. Only issue I had was the tub doesn't get hot enough and the jets were really loud and didn't really spray hard.

So I have been working 7 days a week 10+ hours a day for the past month and a half. I needed a change of pace so I wanted to surprise my fiancee with a short getaway. I reserved cabin 30 and called to check on the check in process, as we would be leaving Tucson friday night after I got off work. They told me they would go and turn the heat up and turn some lights on for us upon our arrival. We got there and just as they said the heat was on, as well as the lights. The cabin was absolutely beautiful, inside and out and I'm not sure if it said so on Expedia where I booked or not but the fireplace in cabin 30 was gas whereas others were wood. I'd had loved a wood fireplace, but its not any reason for me to rate any lower than 5 stars because this is such a gem and for the price especially. We will definitely be making this a yearly stay for just the 2 of us.

Our weekend away at Whispering Pines was absolutely perfect - from the crisp air to the tall trees to the beautiful skies, we loved every minute of it. The cabin was a wonderful, clean, cozy space to unwind; the bed was very comfortable and large; and the kitchen was perfect for a home-cooked meal after sitting on the front porch. Checking in and out was very clear and easy, and the woman at the front desk (I sadly didn't catch her name) was kind and helpful! We also loved that Darbi's was walking distance, and the hiking trails near the property were also fantastic. Can't wait to visit again!

This place lives up to it's name. The wind through the pines feels like the trees truly are whispering to you. The cabin we stayed in was perfectly spaces from our next door neighbor, and nice older couple who shared information about the local birds. Lots of quiet, no bugs to speak of (except one dead spider) and clean facilities. Feels a little weird as there are no pictures and the cabin is pretty bare but it is spacious and comfy! It rained while we were there and it sounded wondedful. There are facilities on the ground for weddings, in the open and one was going on while we were there. Though we could hear the music and the cheering and see some lights it was muffled and non-obtrusive. Staff was great, we got there late and they had a solution to get us into our cabin without any hassle. Also accidentally broke a glass (the vs ins come with kitchens that have most everything for cooking and drinking wine) and they didn't charge is for our mistake. Would stay again and love the surrounding town and area! Go out and visit the locals...they are excellent!

It has plates and silverware, coffee maker, pots and pans, toaster, drinking glasses, coffee cups, coffee filters spatulas, cooking utensils. Kind of like a home away from home. There's signs telling you to wash everything that you used from the kitchen. There's no need to bring any plates or silverware cups or glasses.
It has sheets! And extra pillows and blankets in the closet.
We were in cabin 7
Direct TV I think
They have a grill at each cabin. You'll have to bring your own charcoal. Don't think they'll let you build a fire outside.
There was definitely not an on-site masseuse. They did have an indoor hot tub, but that was about it for Spa services.
Depends on the cabin some have firm beds and some have soft beds. There are both types of pillows soft and firm.
