So excited to get out of the heat. We had looked at this resort BECAUSE it advertises a restaurant and saloon ON SITE! Lies!!! It has been closed for a few years now according to the locals! We felt the price of the cabin was high but accepted it because we thought we would not be driving to get food and drink! LIES! Thankfully we had a kitchen in the cabin! Although we did have to call a random number to find out where our cabin was only to reach a lady who couldn’t exactly explain where it was because it was not on the map. This is all kinds of wrong!!! Next year is Greer!!!

Beautiful setting. Lovely room. Excellent shower. Satellite TV and WiFi. Never saw any staff, though. Self check-in and check-out only as instructed by email. No restaurant on site. We enjoyed dinner at the Grill and Still and breakfast at Bear Wallow in town. Real character at both. If you're a 2A supporter, you'll love the Wallow! If not, well, you'll love the breakfast.

We really enjoyed our stay. There was a little issue with the online booking, but the gal in the office (I didn't get her name), was super sweet and took good care of us. We loved our room. It was cozy and super clean! Next time we plan to get the room with the hot tub. We will most definitely be back to stay again. Great place to stay, highly recommended.
