Hello. You'll need to bring your state issued ID. If it's a long gun you can typically leave with it as long as it's compliant with your home state and a background check is run with an FFL at the time of purchase. If you are buying a pistol it must ship to an FFL in your home state to have a background check run and processed there. Each situation is a little bit different so you'll need to check with the dealer you're purchasing it through to make sure everything is compliant. Hope that helps. Thanks
