The New Employee. On a Saturday in mid June, T J Maxx was busier than I've seen it in a long time. The kind of day where you drive round and round for any available parking place. I shopped and went to the register to find the line longer than one the night before Christmas. I stood and waited my turn. All the registers were open (Yay). My turn came and the clerk was so kind, warm and tried her best to quickly get me out of there. I had one exchange and asked for a credit to put toward my purchase. She asked for help and apologized for the delay. This girl was on her game and very personable. The line was crazy and she didn't let anything bother her. To my surprise, she was new to the register. Actually this day was her first day. What a fantastic experience it was to see a young lady who is personable, not looking at her phone, and making eye contact. I wish I remembered her name. Because of her temperament and ability to work under pressure, this girl will be in management one day. Good luck to you.
