Found my perfect dress today with Laura’s help!! It was my first time trying on and the second one I tried on was the winner. She made me feel so comfortable and the price was incredibly reasonable and much lower than expected since I bought off the rack due to my budget and time restrictions. I was in search of a long sleeve dress and there are so many options here. Absolutely recommend!!

My initial experience with Bliss was wonderful! I went in on a weekday in February, picked the first dress that I had tried on, and was in and out within ~45 minutes! Since my wedding was about 6 months from the day I found my dress, Laura said I had a few options. 1. I could order the dress in my size and pay an additional $500 for rush shipping, or 2. I could by the sample dress (which was a few sizes too large, was missing buttons and had a large makeup stain on the neckline). She said she would call the owner to see if she could get me a deal. She said "I don't do this for all my brides, just the ones I want to look super cute". She came back and said "okay, so, I talked to the owner and she said we could sell the dress for XXX EVERYTHING INCLUDED!" I asked, "even alternations?" and she said "YES! Everything included for XXX". So.. I bought the dress, took it home and waited for my first alterations appointment. Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago... I went in for my first alterations appointment. Laura, happened to walk in at the time, popped over and gave me a magnet that she'd made. I did all of the normal things, Karen did her thing and pinned the skirt, we scheduled the next appointment, and she said "okay so it looks like it's going to be $YYY for the alterations". I looked at her puzzled and said "I was told back in February that the alterations were included in the price that I paid". There was confusion all around, she had said she was going to check since they had never done things that way before. Marleigh (so sweet) came over and listened to the situation said she also had never heard of them doing this before, but she'd call the owner if it made me fell better. I'm so frustrated at this point, I bought a dress over my budget because, a. I was able to take it home that day, b. I knew the cost going in, there were no surprises, a c. I loved the style. Marleigh came back and reiterated that they had never done this in the 7+ years they'd been in business, that I could have the alterations done at the shop and pay the price, or take it elsewhere. She asked if I wanted the owner to give me a call. I said "YES PLEASE!" I have now waited 2+ weeks for the owner to give me a call. I have called everyday for the past 8 days... every time Marleigh answers, I get the response "she was out sick last week, she just left, you just missed her, she'll call you tomorrow". The owner called and left one message at 3:15PM, I was at work, but called her back an hour later, and she just so happened to have "just left". I can't explain the frustration that I'm feeling. I am still hopeful that the Owner will call me back and honor what one of her employee's told me, but it seems like no one cares that this happened and since I've purchased and paid for my dress already, it's not their problem. I'm a VERY money conscious person, for what I went over on my dress, I took that money out of another place in our wedding budget. I NEVER, EVER would have purchased a dress (stained, too large, and missing buttons) for more than my budget allowed without even ASKING what alterations would cost. I spoke to Karen when I first tried my dress on, we talked about the options of the bustle and how I don't like the traditional bustles, but would want it to be hidden underneath. She agreed that wouldn't be a problem. I'm so beyond frustrated that I can't even get a call back. I feel like I was told anything to make a sale.
