Stayed here in May. Very modern, very clean, great staff, friendly, nice sitting area outside, comfortable room, separate toilet & sink and then another separate shower and sink. Good breakfast but pretty much the same every day. The toilet paper holder came off the wall one morning and the maintenance guy fixed it within 5 minutes. Very friendly. A+ all the way. Would stay here again.

Really nice place to stay away from home. Comfortable, clean and very friendly staff. Breakfast could have changed a couple times but overall everything was still good. We normally stay somewhere else but decided to take a chance and stay here....great decision. We will book a stay again.

I had never stayed at this franchise before. I ended up staying here twice in a week. On the surface, everything looks great. The decor appears fancy. The rooms are big. You get a nice desk space. The hotel has a fitness room. I was pleased enough to return after my first visit. Unfortunately, the luxury is only superficial. The matresses are lumpy. The pillows are flimsy. The heater in my second room didn't work very well. The coffee is truly terrible (so bad that the truck stop coffee I had on the way home was incredible by comparison.) The literal and figurative veneer is chipping in many places. I'll also add that all of the decent hotels of Saginaw are within a quarter mile of this one. The weekend I rolled in (and maybe this is a product of COVID-times), every hotel was full of locals partying. It felt like a college dorm. I don't get the feeling the locals treat the place well. It's enough of a problem that there was a lot of signage and disclaimer about penalties for trashing rooms. All that said, I enjoyed my stay here, and given the current options, I would consider staying here again.
