There food is very tasteful and enjoyable. There a little pricey but this is the best Mexican Restraunt I’ve ate at out of all I’ve been to… But I recommend anybody that hasn’t been here come try the place 👍🏼

Quality is lacking. Ordered take out and, arrived at the time they said the order would be ready… then I waited 10 minutes for my food. Got home to find that my tamale order was cold…as in, I wonder if these were taken from the freezer and just warmed up, middle of each tamale was cold to the touch. Much like the old frozen burritos of my childhood that never really get cooked thoroughly in the microwave. Too much competition in the area, I won’t be going back to El Jimador.

If you are looking for a solid neighborhood Mexican restaurant, this is your place. Chips and queso are on point, fajitas are sizzling, and the drinks are cold! Bonus points for always having the Astros game on!
